Thoughts as we end our time in Iraq

With today being the "official end of the Iraq War", I have mixed feelings. I am happy that we are finished there.
However, I am saddened for all the Soldiers who had to die for the cost of freedom (more so the 17 of my buddies who died in 06-07).


I pray for the people of Iraq that they will grow and progress past their stupid sectarian issues... and ask that America NOT call it a pointless war.
No matter what the President or anybody else thinks, we had a great purpose in being there, and Iraq will always be a part of me. God bless!
