MYTH: Military pay is very good.
TRUTH: The average enlisted US Army Sergeant makes about $23,000 per year* plus benefits including health insurance, 401k and some housing costs. While this may seem like lots for someone right out of high school, it isn’t very much for a mom, dad, and a couple of kids to feed. *Source: salary.com.
This is why helping military families is our social responsibility. These families are making tremendous sacrifices for our freedom - for a small paycheck and a few benefits.
At Project Sanctuary, we often get feedback like:
"We desperately needed this time together, but we could never have afforded to do this on our own."
"My husband and I haven't been on a date in years."
Honor our nation's military families by getting involved with Project Sanctuary.
